Here at Storepro, we are passionate about providing support to the community through our partners – like our recent collaboration with Thread Together.
Thread Together source new and excess clothing from fashion retailers and redistribute items to those in our communities that need it most. The new clothes, rescued from potential landfill, are then made available at no cost to those who need it most. More than 8 million dollars worth of clothes have been donated to the cause from brands such as Seafolly and General Pants, who are also clients of Storepro. To date, Thread Together have reached over 150,000 people across Australia.
Inspired by Thread Together’s mission and purpose, we offered our project management and fitout services for the establishment of the Thread Together Clothing Hub in Adelaide.
The project began with a substantial defit of the original space and the organisation on the design and layout. After a fresh coat of paint, Storepro supplied and installed a brand new counter, mirrors, dressing room curtains and timber flooring, while managing the entire project from start to finish. The entire store was fitted out with brand new post and rail fixtures, also supplied by Storepro.
Part of Thread Together’s mission is to offer an ethical response to fashion waste and save clothing from going directly to landfill. Staying true to their position on waste and landfill within the new space, we incorporated recycled floor fixtures and refurbished pieces into the fitout.

The Adelaide Thread Together Clothing Hub will now be stocked with brand new clothing donated by more than 20 Australian fashion retailers. With an increasing number of Australians without access to essential clothing, the men, women and children who are doing it tough within the Adelaide community will now have the opportunity to try on and choose a complete new set of clothes.
