Since the birth of the label 15 years ago in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Camilla has expanded to 24 stores throughout Australia and the United States, while increasing their global stockists to 55 countries around the world.
Each fit out that Storepro has partnered with Camilla to create has channelled this artisan craftsmanship that leaves the brand standing out in its own striking glory, immersing its customers in the colours, patterns and textures of their bespoke pieces.
As a well known Australian brand that specialises in these immersive, physical retail experiences, what can we expect from Camilla in the future?
A focus on the future
Brand Founder, Camilla Franks has weighed in with her predictions on the post-COVID retail landscape highlighting a focus towards local Australian brands and conscious consumption.
“It will become more important than ever to shop locally”, we can expect Australians to want to invigorate the economy by focusing on purchasing from Australian brands and reaching for products by those that support and employ locals.
This time to slow down has also given us a moment to reflect on the businesses we do support and whether our consumption aligns with our values. Camilla believes “we will become much more thoughtful about our consumption and start to reflect our values through our purchasing behaviours”.
Camilla’s positive approach to change comes after the opening of their overseas stores last year. Storepro had the opportunity to work with the Camilla team fitting out their two new stores in the United States.
Storepro completed the joinery for these Camilla USA stores and assisted in the translation of the Camilla brand into the USA built environment, ensuring local requirements were met, resulting in a top tier retail experience.
Here’s a peek at the previous fit-outs we’ve also completed for Camilla.

When working with the Camilla team on these projects, Storepro provided an end-to-end service that looked at each project holistically to respond to their needs.
Now an international business with these new stores less than a year old in the United States, we place great importance on building a strong relationship with Camilla and working to deliver consistently outstanding projects that exceed the expectations of their team and their customers.
